Disneyland, Flamenco, and the flu

The name really says it all. Disneyland was really fun, but tiring! The kids were really surprised, and a little confused. I'm not sure they believed us for a while. I made us all shirts that put together said "We R going 2 Disney Land" I'll tell ya, we were a hit on the plane. They announced over the speakers about us surprising the kids and Tayler got a cheer for her birthday. Pretty fun. Saturday (Tayler's bday) was the best day. She got a pin saying it was her bday so everyone would know. She counted 30 people wishing her a happy birthday - workers around the park and dancers and characters in the parade - her favorites were Peter Pan and Cinderella. It was really fun for her. The crowds weren't too bad that day and we saw most of the park. Monday, however, was the re-opening of the Finding Nemo ride. We maybe made it onto 3 rides the whole day and stood in line at least an hour for everything, including icecream. But we're proud to say we rode in the Nemo submarine on the very first day. A 10 minute ride at 1am after a 3 1/2 hour wait in line... it's worth it right? I'm not so sure. Our last day was spent at California Adventure and it's really fun there - bigger rides and stuff.
We arrived home Wed. afternoon and the next morning about 4 Tayler started throwing up. Oh happy day that it wasn't on the plane on the way home. Then Saturday morning Kenzie (while sleeping at a friends house) threw up. Then that afternoon Matthew joined in the fun. So it's a waiting game for Reece, Kurt and I.
My dance recital was Saturday as well. I spent the day at the theater with a lot of cute dancers practicing and practicing. It went really well - only one mistake (but I won't tell where! :) I'm really glad it's over, but very happy I did it. I'm working on a video of our CA trip, but here's the flamenco dance.
