Our spring break

We're back from Idaho and we had a great time. Thanks to Suzy for spoiling us once again! Kurt and I were a bit lazy with our camera, the only shots I got are these of us watching/listening to conference. I just loved both sessions on Sunday (because of traveling on Saturday we missed those sessions, but we'll catch up soon!) I missed President Hinckley, but it was wonderful to see President Monson and hear from him. I loved his last talk with his stories and humor.

I know the girls had a great time with the baby boys, we miss babies at our house! It was great spending time with everyone there. We're looking forward to August when we can see every body else!

The drive home was, for the most part, uneventful - just the way we like it. However, it seems like we always have trouble in one of the mountain passes and this year was no exception... as we're making our way up Snoqualmie Pass I was driving so Kurt could sleep. We passed a sign that I thought said - West bound I-90 to be closed at 3:15 at exit 53 for avalanche control. WHAT? So eventually Kurt woke up and saw another sign that said the same thing. We were passing exit 63 and it was just after 3:00. I have never seen that many cars racing at top speed through the mountains in pouring rain ever. We were just praying, please let us make it and not get stuck in the mountains for hours... please! We approached exit 53 around 3:19 and luckily they were late getting started or something because we made it through. We passed by the truck with the signs and lights, cop cars, and big plows ready to go. We were so relieved!

So now we're home and I'm trying to get up the energy to get laundry going and everything put away... I really don't want to deal with it. Kurt, Matthew and I are leaving Wednesday afternoon for Atlanta so I know I'll have to do it before then, but as Scarlett O'Hara would say, "I don't want to think about that now. I'll think about that tomorrow."
