Student Driver in the House

Um, yes. Matthew got his permit yesterday and he was pretty happy about it! He practiced in the church parking lot for a while before driving home from there. (a nice straight shot with no stops to our neighborhood :) He did really well for the first time and I'm proud of myself also, I stayed calm the whole time - no screaming or anything. He starts his class on Tuesday - it's a 2 hour class, 3 days a week for 5 weeks, not including driving time outside of class. He'll be done just as school is ending which is nice I think.
