This is Kenzie on the way to Twin Falls, ID. She was the best traveler. Not one complaint throughout the drive or meeting all the old relatives. What a sweet young woman she's becoming, it was a lot of fun for me to spend time with just her.
We spent the night in Twin and the next morning met my mom's aunts & uncles (my Grandpa Crane's brother & sister & spouses) at the Twin Falls temple for the open house. It was beautiful. It was so great for Kenzie to see the inside and have just a glimpse of what wonderful things she can experience in the future. Uncle Rex and Grandpa's sister Marjorie are the temple President and Matron. So after our tour we got to sit in Uncle Rex's office and he told us lots of fun tidbits about when the temple was being built.

Afterward Rex & Marjorie had us over for lunch. They have a lovely home which is just for the temple Pres. & Matron. In order: Kenzie, Marjorie, Rex & my sister Kelle
Pictured here, mom's cousins (sorry mom - I can't remember their names!) Aunt LaRae, Uncle Dan (Grandpa's brother)
After lunch Uncle Dan was so sweet and drove us all around Burley visiting more aunts and uncles. First, we saw the Shoshone Falls in Twin.
Kenzie and me - the mist felt SO good! It was HOT!
Mom and Uncle Dan.
When I showed Kurt these pictures, he laughed about the name Shoshone because of Napolean Dynamite. I had no idea what he was talking about, so he qued up the movie and this is what we saw -
I thought it was so funny, because every other time I've seen this I had no idea what this guy was saying, but after being in Idaho and seeing more signs about the Shoshone tribe it made sense!
This is Uncle Dan's garage. He collects license plates, and he told us this isn't even close to how many he has. We thought it was pretty fun.

He told us this is the most valueable one. Note the date - he also told us Idaho was the first state to use a logo on their plates.
This was Uncle Cal (Granpa's other brother) and Aunt Raeola's farm.
This kitty almost ended up in the car with us. Kenzie did NOT want to let him go!
I wonder what this cow was thinking about? Probably how cute Kenzie is. :)
After visiting our relatives we headed to Suzy's in Pocatello. Not many pictures from here, we just had a great time relaxing and chatting. Ryan and Kenzie spent one night in the tent.
I promised Kenzie we would highlight her hair. It turned out really cute!
Although, this looks scary.
The evening after we arrived was my Neice Paige's graduation from BYU Idaho's nursing program. So mom and I headed up there and it was so neat. She showed us her apartment and we got to see the Rexburg temple. I forgot my camera so I got this one on my phone of her getting ready. Isn't she beautiful? I'm so proud of her - our little Paige is a nurse!
On our way home we stayed in Butte, MT and visited a ghost town in Dillon, MT. It was the coolest thing ever! All the houses and buildings were old and crumbly, from 1862. We had a blast exploring and riding horses. Their annual festival was going on that day so there were people dressed like the time period, a stage coach robbery and a shoot-out in the street. Fun!
Crossing the bridge into the town.
Just starting our HOT, dusty, fun journey.
Kenzie on her first horse back ride. She really wanted to ride a white one and she lucked out! She was a little nervous because it was her first time, but she did great!
This is the view from our ride, that's Sean & Kelle in front of me. Look at that beautiful sky!
This is inside the church. The chairs are original.
Old mining equipment.
An old, crumbly stage coach.
This is one of many outhouses we found. This one happens to be a 2-seater.
I loved this fence.
And this hinge! I wanted to take it home!
This is the hotel.
And this is the inside.

Harrison & Sean with one of the "locals".
The schoolhouse is downstairs, the masonic temple upstairs.
Quite the playground huh?
Inside the school.

Doesn't this baby stroller look like a wash tub? Maybe it is...
