Last Thursday I felt it coming on and was determined not to get sick. Alas, I was in bed most of the weekend worrying I had strep. Thank heavens that's not the case, however as each day passes I have felt the evil destroyer, who started at the top of my head/throat, move slowly down and has now deposited itself in my chest and nose. I'm praying it doesn't spread through the house, but that's probably inevitable. It's gross, and I'm foggy, but I can't be sick so I pop some pills and life goes on.
We've had 2 concerts so far with 1 more to go. Kenzie's was Thursday, Tayler's last night, Matt's is Monday. It's really fun for me to see the growth that happens each year. I'm excited to hear the high school choirs with vocal jazz performing. I'm desperately hoping Matthew will want to audition next year. The jazz choir is going to DisneyLand this year so maybe when he's a senior they'll go on another trip. Some of my best memories of high school are from being in Vocal Jazz, it's so much fun.
Kenzie has exciting news: she auditioned for the WA state honor choir and made it! They are performing in Spokane in February. We're very proud of her, she's the only one in her school to make it. Here she is at her concert singing a duet:
Tayler and her friends sang and played their recorders. They're so cute playing those recorders but I'm posting my favorite song they sang.

I'll be sure to remember the camera Monday night and capture some of Matthew.
