Bathroom update

Ok - this "simple" wainscoting was a nightmare! It might've had something to do with the HEAT. I painted all of it and installed it on Wednesday - the HOTTEST day of the year. I think it was 105 at one point. WHY did I do it??? We were on the boat Tuesday and Thursday and it was the only day I could fit it in and I'm obsessed and I wanted it done. So, it's done. I have never been so hot and tired, I was almost in tears, but it's done.

I know I have issues.

Here it is in the middle of the installation:
And here it's all together. Isn't it pretty???
Here are some of the things I found while shopping. I love love LOVE to shop for new pretty things for my home... especially when I can find them CHEAP!

I'm still working with this shelf. It came from IKEA, and the extras from Ross, Marshall's, Joann's, sales sales sales! That bottle is eagerly waiting for sand from Hawaii ~ hehehe
This table came from Marshall's and I fell head-over-heels-in-love-at-first-sight with this bird. It was on clearance at Pier 1 and was actually a garden decoration - you know - one of those long spikey things you stick in the ground. But I had another vision for him and lucky for me I have a husband who can do anything.
These frames came from Marshall's - they were good to me at Marshall's.
The towel hooky thing came from Pier 1, the mirror from IKEA. It's not done though... I'm on the hunt for an oval picture frame.
Kenzie found this rug for me at Kohl's on clearance - $20 down to $4! Love that! I've found this is the perfect time to search for summery/beachy stuff - it's all on clearance. Yay!
So that's it for now... I have a plan for this wall:
and the mirror. Oh! And I have a new light fixture coming. To be continued...

You are so freakin talented Megan! It looks awesome!!!!!! I always spend all my money when things aren't on sale and then have no money left when they are. Way to be thrifty!
