Reece is 15! I can't believe it. What a fun young man he is and I'm so happy and thankful he's a part of our family. He had some friends over to help him celebrate, and eat pizza and cake. He got some good loot - including a phone that he's been working hard to earn by getting through all the Eagle work. The boy must have a fan to sleep at night so we thought it was time for him to have his very own -
Tayler made him this skateboarding trophy. Too cute!
Reece doesn't eat sugar or else he gets really bad cold sores. This makes it a challenge come birthday time to figure out a cake for him. This year I made a sugar-free ice cream cake and here he is giving his approval.
But I had to make a real cake too because, well, that's how I roll. So I tried to make a half-pipe and it worked for a while til one side crashed and burned.
He makes me want to become a baker but my little half-pipe was pretty sad. It's embarrassing actually. If you haven't yet seen Cake Boss you must. It's incredible and it's on TLC.
I came downstairs Saturday morning to find this -
It was just too cute for words. Oh how I love those boys! Just look at this handsome 15 year old man.
School TOMORROW!!!
