No boys allowed

This week was mid-winter break and I know the kids love it but me, not so much. Usually the weather is crappy and didn't we just have a bunch of time off? Whatever.

BUT it has been SUNNY and near 60 ALL week! What the? It's February, isn't it?

Anyway, this year the girls and I started a new tradition for the mid-winter break boredom. We took 2 days with a hotel in the middle just for us. It was so much fun. Tuesday we took off around 11 straight for ice skating. I have a whole new respect for ALL fancy ice skaters! They make it look so easy and it's really not. But I never fell - I'm so proud.From there it was lunch at 5 Guys and a movie. The Tooth Fairy. Lets just say I was thankful for all the games on my i-phone.Then after some shopping we checked into the hotel. We had dinner at the Cheesecake factory, and brought our delicious cheesecake back to the room for another movie. 17 Again. Hilarious.

The next day we shopped til we literally dropped. We were gone just long enough to miss our boys so we met them at Spaghetti Factory for dinner. I realized that the only pictures we have besides ice skating is of us waiting to eat. Hmmm... I guess that's what we do best. : )

Oh how I love my girls, they are growing up too fast and it's so fun to spend time with just them. I love new traditions!
