Monday, December 13

once a week? maybe.

That's my blogging goal and I think during the Holidays that's good enough.

The first weekend of December our Stake puts on a Christmas Creche exhibit.  It's gorgeous with hundreds of different nativities from all over the world with music performances throughout the weekend.  It sends you straight into the Christmas spirit.
I accompanied our bishop's wife singing
5 songs + 2 weeks to learn them all = STRESS!
All I did for those 2 weeks was play, play, play.  I didn't have them perfect, and the chapel is always dark and they forget to light the piano EVERY TIME but it turned out well.
Prayers always work and it's amazing to feel that.
I also sang in the adult choir which I just love.  Kenzie sang in the youth choir and did awesome.
Reece drew this picture to display -
The kid has skills.

Last Tuesday was our Relief Society dinner/program.  I sang in a barbershop quartet and it was FUN!  We want to sing more often during the year - we had a blast.

Saturday was our Ward Christmas party.  Dinner and talent show.  I sang in another quartet (not barbershop) and now I'm done performing except the choir at church and it's a bit of a relief.  Tayler sang with the primary - her last Christmas in primary.  I still can't believe my kids are so grown up.

This week we have 2 concerts at 2 schools.
Next week a piano recital and voice recital,
then it's CHRISTMAS!
Are you ready?  : )

Even though the kids think they're all grown up we're taking them to see Santa tonight.
Taking some,
dragging others,
but it should be fun for all.
Hopefully.  : )

I'll post that picture when we get it but for now I dug through the archives for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy ~
