Senior Prom

Last Saturday was the High School's senior prom.  Matthew was a little hesitant to go but I gently encouraged him  : )  SENIOR PROM!  It's a big deal.  They held it at the Seattle Aquarium which is very cool.  He and Tiana doubled with another couple...  Matthew was planning to drive, but Kurt and I thought it would be fun to surprise them with a limo.  He went to pick up his date, then went to the other girls house for pictures.  I asked him to come back here on their way so I could take pictures too...  So the limo was set to come while we were inside.  The driver called saying he was running late.  I stalled the kids the best I could... they were anxious to get going!  Pictures and sparkling cider in the house, more pictures outside.  Kurt said he was printing directions for Matthew and the printer was having "problems".  I was outside with the kids who were very patient.  The driver called when he pulled into our neighborhood so Kurt came out and started talking to the kids so their backs were to the road.  The limo pulled up and they didn't know *hehe*  then Kurt said "you won't have to worry about parking, Matt, because you're riding in that"  the kids turned around and were SO surprised and happy!  It was great!  I hope they had a fun night that they'll always remember.
