Matthew earned all 4 seminary pins, 1 for each year.
Reece is on his way to do the same - he's earned 2 for his 2 years in seminary.
Each year to earn the pin you must:
*read the required reading for the particular book of scripture they're studying
(for the Old Testament they didn't have to read the whole thing, but the other 3, New Testament, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine & Covenants they did)
*read out of the book they're studying 200 days or more during the school year
*memorize 25 scripture mastery's (verses of scripture)
*know the names in order of the 1st Presidency and the Quorum of the 12 Apostles
*give a Book of Mormon to a friend.
It's not easy to do and they have to keep at it all year or they don't get it done.
Yay boys! Congrats Matthew for making it through all 4 years!
