December

Happy New Year!
December flew by.
I can't believe it's over and Matthew's gone!
I thought I should document our crazy, fun month.
Be warned: it's long and there's a lot of pictures.

Dec 4-10 we were in Disneyland.
We rented a house a mile from the park.
It was the best vacation the 6 of us have had.
*highlight of the trip was getting 1 ticket scanned twice and 1 not scanned at all entering the park.  Kurt went to guest services to get it fixed and he wanted compensation for his time (love it!) and he was given 2 front of the line passes, for all 6 of us.  We used both on Midway Mania, a ride without a fastpass option and the line is always huge.  It was beautiful.
we all loved the Christmas decorations
The weather was beautiful!  but C O L D once the sun went down!

Grizzly river run
California Screamin'
Tower of Terror ~ best ride EVER
Midway Mania.  A close 2nd to Tower of Terror
the very center of the park

December 11 was Matthew's mission farewell.
He did great on his talk and all 4 kids sang.
It was really special.
We had a big family dinner afterward and it was great to see so much support for my Matthew.
I know he appreciated it.

December 13 Matthew went to the temple for the first time.
It was such as awesome feeling being in the temple with my son!

December 16-18 Kurt, Matthew and I headed to Pocatello for Tanae & Scott's wedding.
It was really nice to have some time just the 3 of us before Matthew left.
The wedding was beautiful and Kurt had a blast decorating the car.
It was great seeing everybody!

One week later and it was Christmas.
Our last one all together for a while and it was really nice.

December 27 we took Matthew to the airport.
Hardest thing I've ever done.
I miss his laugh.

New Year's was nice and quiet.
Brock's family and my parents came over for games and lots of food.

Now it's back to school and schedules and exercise?
Maybe.
HAHAHA
