Our week in Maple Valley...

Last night and this morning I have been thinking a lot of President Hinckley. I loved to hear him speak, his great sense of humor and how loving he was. He made you feel like he was your friend, even though you've never met. When I see pictures of him online and think of him and his sweet wife together again tears come to my eyes. I will miss him.

Our week was was not very eventful I'm afraid... Google has said snow for Maple Valley for the past week, only to see 2 or 3 flakes once and a while, much to my children's disappointment. However, we woke to see maybe half an inch out there today! How sad is that? The kids were already home from school for the semester break and they're quite excited about that little half inch. I told them they better get out there and play before it melts. :D Kurt has been welding his rotisserie for his Porsche and we've discovered Reece is quite the little welder. He has made a grinding rail for his skate board which you can see in this video.

Matthew has made a dang funny movie - I'll see if I can get it on here.

My purse business is going well... we have a party about every other week, sometimes more. It's so fun - I love thinking up new designs.

Kurt and I get to go away for 2 nights this weekend for my birthday. We're going to stay in the Salish Lodge which is right at Snoqualmie Falls. I can't tell you how excited I am. Just to get away from our phone ringing all day is a treat!
