2009 Flood Fest

When our back yard looks like this, it's never a good sign.

Or when there's a foot of water under our trampoline...The pump Kurt installed under the house a few years ago pooped out on us. This left us with a couple feet of water under the house which is never good.
Kurt and Matthew got a new pump installed Thursday and it's working hard for us. It can't keep up enough to get it all drained out however. The pond next to our house has just about reached capacity and we're pumping water into the street which in turn drains into the pond. Not the best system. The forcast on Google says rain, but it hasn't started yet. It's a little unsettling standing on your driveway and looking 3 feet away at water just about level with the ground. If we have to we'll get the stuff in the garage elevated. For now we're ok!Milly really wanted to help out.
