Kurt and his friend Jared actually put it together for us today at the church (thank you SO much!!!) Tara and I cut the windows out, painted, made curtains, flower boxes, shutters and sewed the awning. I LOVE IT! There's 5 pieces of 4'x8' plywood on the bottom and the top is this awesome foam/insulation stuff we found at Home Depot that's the same size as the wood. So the measurements all together are 16' tall, 24' wide.
This is the back side. Not as pretty, but it gets the job done. We're actually making the inside pretty also, I'll have to get pictures of it tomorrow.
This is the menu we have posted on the wall, some things changed but mostly it's all correct.
The lights will be off in the gym since it's supposed to be a "night" in Paris but they rigged the spotlights on the ceiling to shine on the wall like this -
There's flickering battery candles in our lanterns. This does NOT do it justice, it's way better in person! I'll post more pictures of the gym when I get them tomorrow (and Matthew and his date Lexi) hehehe :-)
