After downloading all the pictures I've been taking recently I realized how behind I am in my blogging. I'll start with last night and work backwards and we'll see how far I get this week.
We carved pumpkins last night and I found it wonderfully ironic that the day I finally break down and mop my floor is the same day we did our carving. Oh well, what can you do? I remember a saying that was very popular amongst us moms while we lived in Alaska.
"cleaning your house while your kids are still growing
is like shoveling snow while it's still snowing."
TOO TRUE!
The kids had fun and they're so good at this carving business and getting so grown up they really didn't need Kurt or me at all. (which is kind of nice, but kind of sad at the same time) When I say "be careful" or "please don't cut your finger off" they look at me like
"mom. please."
*sigh*
